“Exceptional Italian”
Just returned from San Juan and found an incredible Italian Restaurant – Al Dente. We ate there twice with great food and a reasonable wine list. Spinach salad was a definite 10 as were most of the entrees. If you like Italian you will not be disappointed.

White Sangria – Wow!
St Germain was a top rated restaurant by Trip Advisor so we made it a point to go while in San Juan. We were not disappointed, great food and good service. I highly recommend the white wine sangria.

“The View is a 10+”
This is not my first visit to Off The Wall. What a great place!! Really good sandwiches and great pizza in a setting that screams out a Corona beach ad. Drinks are reasonable and the view is spectacular. If you want to go at sunset, go early to get a seat.

“Incredible Tapas”
Pieria is new, opening on Valentines Day 2011. This is a tapas restaurant with a very skilled chef and excellent service. We ate here twice during our recent visit to Old San Juan. The food was excellent and the wine selection was very good. The bar makes a really refreshing white sangria. The chef, the bartender and the hostess are your owners and they show sincere pride in their establishment. If you enjoy Tapas, this restaurant is incredible.

“Revisit an old Favorite”
Brennan’s Houston has reopened. We just attended an unforgetable wedding in the court yard on a perfect March evening. I had forgotten how much I like this restaurant as I was genuinely concerned that it would not be the same after the recent fire. The remodeling after the fire brought this restaurtant back to original conditions and it is again one of Houston’s best places to go. The live jazz, cajun inspired cuisine and signature turtle soup make this again a great evening out with friends or with just your special someone.

“Savannah Must Do”
The Olde Pink House serves traditional southern cuisine. The chef has made some excellent changes to enhance the southern food experience. The BLT salad was excellent as described on the Food Channel. My entre was good but not great and the wine list needs some additions. Overall, the atmosphere and the prices make this a do not miss destination.

“Never Disappointed”
The Chart House in Savannah GA was the best restaurant on my recent trip. The menu was very broad and the entres were large portions. The wine list was shorter than some but had excellent choices. The view of the river was from the dining area definitely added to the dining experience. The prices were higher that most comparable restaurants in Savannah, but the food did make up in part for the price. If you like yellow fin tuna, the tuna on the menu was a definite 10 (ten). The spinach salad also was an excellent choice.

“Gourmet Carryout and upscale market”
What a pleasant surprise, we were able to stock our condo rental with superior gourmet foods with a single stop. In addition to the gourmet items there was a large selection of snacks, and beverages. If you are staying where you can eat some of your meals in, this is the place to find your food. Most items are a little pricey, but not any more than comparable items from a convenience store.

“Pizza and Subs with Large Beer Selection”
Mellow Mushroom in Savannah GA is a pizza and sub restaurant with a huge beer selection both on draft and bottled. The pizza and subs are generous in size and tasty. Excellent lunch choice, but be prepared to take some home. If you are a beer drinker, you will rate this restaurant much higher than I did.
